For those ages 8-13 who want to be immersed into life with horses. Your camper will learn the responsibility of true horse ownership as they take part in the daily care of all the horses, which includes feeding and cleaning stalls. In addition to riding, there are lots of fun and special activities to keep your camper excited and engaged: a trip to *Canterbury Park, which includes a tour of the stable area, an outing to *Anoka Equine Veterinary Services to tour the facility and maybe watch a procedure, visiting a *foaling operation, going for a midnight horseback ride, and bonfires (weather permitting). Your camper will not only bond with the horses, but with each other, making lasting friendships in a positive and safe environment! And at the end of the week, parents and family get to watch a performance and see what their camper has been learning! PLEASE NOTE: All meals and snacks will be provided. Please remember the bug spray and sun screen, as well as any other comfort item your camper will need for the week. Drop-off is at 9am Monday morning and pickup is 3pm Friday afternoon.
