Intro to Drumset (Grades 5-8)

Spring/Summer 2026

Get started on the drum set in this hands-on introductory class designed especially for students in grades 5–8. Students will learn proper hand and foot technique, basic rudiments, and how to play drum beats along with music in a variety of styles and tempos. Practice pads and sticks will be provided for use in class, and the instructor will provide the drum set. This class is a fun and supportive way for students to build rhythm, coordination, and confidence while learning the fundamentals of drumming.
