Intro to Home Organizing
Home & Garden
In this Introduction to Home Organizing class, we will learn about basic home organizing principles and practices, with a particular focus on sustainability. Many of us struggle with over-consumption—both in terms of the large quantity and the lesser quality of the things we buy. We also often struggle to notice our purchases' impact on people and the planet and to distinguish between genuine wants and needs. Home organizing can empower us all to live more in harmony with ourselves and others, including the natural world. Students will have time to put pen to paper and start planning their own home organizing projects with instructor support. Handouts with helpful tips and resources will also be provided.

Mixed Age Daytime (0-5 years) Separating Course
ECFE Classes
Popular
Our goal is to serve as many families, especially new families as much as possible. In order for new families to have the opportunity to enroll in our courses we ask that you please only enroll for 1 class at this time. If you are enrolling more than 1 child you will need to do multiple enrollments per child. All of our ECFE registrations are individual per child. In this mixed age class, you will enjoy time with your children (birth to 5 years) exploring sensory, literacy, and social experiences. Parents will separate for a discussion focused on the joys and challenges of raising young children in a supportive atmosphere. Parent topics are led by a licensed parent educator to encourage self-confidence in parenting skills. Our licensed teachers will help your child develop in their social interactions and language through play with activities like play dough, painting, classroom exploration and many others. Please help us learn about your child and family. We ask that you provide as much detailed information as possible so that we can most effectively meet your child's needs. Additionally, as part of Fridley Public Schools some of the information we are requesting is personally identifying data about your family that is similar to the data collected from students enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade. All data provided is protected by state and federal education data privacy laws. Only aggregated information will be published that DOES NOT identify individual children, neither you or your child will be identified in any published report. The information from this data will help the Minnesota Department of Education show how investments in young children pays out in the future as a way to increase reading and math scores, as well as, leading to lifelong success.
