Camp Invention Illuminate
Camp Invention’s new program, Illuminate, is an inspiring, weeklong summer experience that provides opportunities for open-ended, hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering and more for students in K-6th grade. Campers take on a variety of exhilarating activities each day, have fun collaborating with friends, think creatively and invent their own solutions to real-world challenges. The all-new 2024 program will spark the imagination of new campers with an adventure full of inspiration, innovation and unforgettable discoveries! During this action-packed, confidence-boosting program, young innovators will: Develop their own sports ball and customize a light-up game with a unique brand and logo as they explore athletics, design and innovation Discover the science of light through illuminating inventions and fluorescent animals, then build a one-of-a-kind Glow Box using circuitry and ultraviolet light Embark on an epic global operation to tackle water challenges around the world, learning the role that water plays with the help of a robotic lab-on-wheels Star as a contestant on a prototyping game show, molding and shaping ideas into awesome inventions using everyday items and a DIY toolbox

Beginning SCUBA Diving (Ages 12 & up)
Are you tired of a two-dimensional life? Do you wish you could be weightless? Have you ever dreamed of breathing underwater? If so, Beginning SCUBA Diving is for you! This six-week class will provide all the technical, safety and skills knowledge to begin you SCUBA journey. Each class will include instruction on the physics, safety, and skills of SCUBA diving as well as time in the pool experiencing weightlessness and breathing underwater. Once this class is completed five open water dives with the instructor are all that stand in your way from full Open Water SCUBA Certification. Once this certification is achieved you can SCUBA dive anywhere in the world. Come experience the wonder of SCUBA diving.

Female Only Lessons
Female only swimming lessons for people who haven't taken lessons before; or if you have taken lessons, you still feel like a beginner swimmer and you are not yet very comfortable in your abilities. NOTE: these lessons are female only, no men can be in the pool area while lessons are taking place.

Female Only Lessons
Swimming lessons for people who have taken lessons before and still feel comfortable with their swimming ability; or for people who have not officially take lessons but still feel confident in the water. NOTE: these lessons are female only, no men can be in the pool area while lessons are taking place.

Level 1
Level 1 - Introduction to Water Skills
Swimmers learn to submerge mouth, nose, and eyes, front and back glides, floating on their front and back for 10 seconds, treading water motions, front crawl with flutter kick, elementary backstroke with flutter kick, and water safety. All skills are encouraged to be done with limited assistance from the teacher. This is a beginner level class for students 6 years old and above, Students must be 6 years old to be in Level 1.

Level 2
Level 2 - Fundamental Aquatic Skills
Swimmers learn to jump from the side of the pool, float on front and back independently, how to use streamline arms to kick independently, front crawl for 15 yards independently, and the basics of elementary backstroke. Students must be 7 years old to be in Level 2.

Level 3
Level 3 - Stroke Development
Swimmers learn to jump and float in deep water, diving from the sitting and kneeling positions, treading water in deep water, and the mastery of rotary breathing. Swimmers continue to work on their front crawl and elementary backstroke sills they learned in level 2. They will also learn how to do these kicks: whip kick, sidestroke kick, and dolphin kick. Your child should be comfortable in deep water and be able to swim across the short end of the pool without a lifejacket or a noodle to sign up for this class.

Level 4
Level 4 - Stroke Improvement
Students will learn to dive into deep water in the standing and stride positions, mastery of front and back open turns, and an introduction to flip turns and competitive starts. They will also learn these strokes: breaststroke, sidestroke, and butterfly. Your child should be comfortable in deep water and be able to swim across the length of the pool (25 yards) to sign up for this level.

Level 5/6
Level 5/6 - Stroke Refinement/Skill Proficiency/Fitness Swimmer
These lessons teach further coordination and refinement of the strokes learned in Level 4 so students swim them with ease, efficiency, power, and smoothness over greater distances. Students will swim to improve their fitness level as they refine their strokes. They will also learn surface dives, mastery of flip turns, underwater streamline for 10 dolphin kicks, and an introduction to competitive swimming skills.

Level 7
Level 7 - Competitive Swimmer Development
Level 7 prepares participants for a competitive swim team structure. The lesson will consist mainly of swimming sets created by the instructor, as well as learning skills to help better each swimming stroke. Students will be expected to know how to do: each swimming stroke, flip turns and open turns, and standing dives from the wall. Each stroke will be swam for a long distance, so students should be prepared to swim for long distances.

Parent/Child Swim Lessons
Parent Child (Ages 6 mos - 4 yrs)
Provides infants and toddlers an entry into aquatics and teaches parents basic skills for working with children in an aquatic environment including water safety, drowning prevention and importance of supervision. This course emphasizes basic water safety and self-help skills in a relaxed and playful manner, using games and songs and helping children to become comfortable in the water. Students will learn safety entry and exits to and from the water as well as to submerge their mouth, nose and eyes in the water. Parents please note: plastic pants with tight elastic around the leg must be worn in addition to a swim diaper or suit. A parent MUST accompany their child in the water.

Preschool - Beginner
Young Swimmer Lessons (Ages 6 months to 6 years)
In this introductory class, students will learn to enter safely into the pool, to blow bubbles through their mouth and nose, to submerge their eyes, nose, and mouth in the water, to float on front and back, to use arm and leg actions, and water safety. Recommended for children 3-4 years old- for children who are still working on their water comfortability and skills. Student/teacher ratio is 6:2.

Students will learn how to submerge head completely underwater and hold breath, blow bubbles through mouth and nose for 5 seconds, float on front and back, roll from front float to back float, swim on front and back with arm and leg movements, and water safety. Recommended for children 4-5 years old- for children who are comfortable in the water and ready to keep working on their water skills. Student/teacher ratio is 6:2.

Tiger Club Swimming Lessons

For a detailed description of each level please click here. These lessons are ONLY for students enrolled in the Tiger Club summer childcare program. *Note: If your child is not at Tiger Club on a particular day they can still come to lessons! A parent/guardian just has to drop off and pick up. BUT, they still have to be registered for Tiger Club to be able to be in these lessons. If you are not registered for Tiger Club summer care and you sign up for this class, you will be taken off the roster and refunded.
